Today there is no dedicated owner for business intelligence and analytics. Departments build their own reports directly on Salesforce (CRM and ERP), leading to inconsistent metric definitions and duplicated work. Databricks is in place as the data platform and Metabase is licensed for visualization, but neither is systematically used. The tooling exists; the foundation and ownership do not.
This role builds and owns the data function end to end: a single, trusted data foundation on Databricks, one definition per metric, and reliable financial, controlling, and operational reporting on top of it. It is a player-coach role. The first hire builds hands-on, then grows a small team.
Within 12 months, every financial, controlling, and operational number at Andercore comes from one governed data foundation, and every department can self-serve its core reports without building on raw Salesforce data.
Own the data platform: ingestion from Salesforce and other sources into Databricks, data modeling, quality, and documentation.
Build the metric layer: one definition per KPI (GMV, NRM, OTP, working capital metrics, and others), agreed with Finance and Operations, versioned and documented.
Deliver the three core report suites: financial reporting (CEO, CFO, board), controlling (FP&A), and operational reporting (supply, logistics, commercial).
Stand up Metabase as the single reporting front end and migrate departments off ad-hoc Salesforce reports.
Partner with Finance (FP&A), Operations, and Commercial as the go-to person for data questions; translate business questions into models and reports.
Prepare investor and board reporting data packs together with the CEO and CFO function.
Hire and manage one Data/BI Analyst once the foundation stands; define the longer-term team shape.
4-8 years in analytics engineering or data/BI roles, with clear hands-on depth: strong SQL, dbt (or equivalent transformation framework), and a lakehouse or warehouse platform, ideally Databricks.
Has built a metric or semantic layer before: can describe a project where they consolidated conflicting KPI definitions into one governed model.
Direct experience with the Salesforce data model as a source system, including its object model quirks and API/ETL constraints.
Understands the unit economics of a trading, distribution, or marketplace business: gross margin, net revenue margin, working capital, inventory or flow metrics. Physical goods, not pure SaaS.
Business-facing communication: comfortable in the room with a CFO or COO, able to push back on metric definitions and prioritize ruthlessly.
Player-coach mindset: wants to build hands-on for the first 6-12 months, then lead a small team.
Metabase experience (or a comparable BI tool such as Looker or Tableau, with willingness to work in Metabase).
German language skills (working language is English; German helps with some internal stakeholders).
Prior experience in a venture-backed scale-up between Series A and C.

Hands-on data science experience. You do not need a research background. You do need to have built and evaluated models yourself: enough to tell a real anomaly from noise, to judge when a finding is solid enough to put in front of a paying customer, and to know what a pipeline owes a model running in production
Solid with Python and SQL and cloud data infrastructure. You have designed and run pipelines, APIs and workflows in production
Comfortable with high-volume time-series data: ingestion, data quality, backfills, and the everyday reality of late, missing and duplicated readings
You think end to end before you go deep. When you hit a hard problem, the first instinct we want is “can a change somewhere else in the chain make this easy?” rather than heading straight into solving the hard version. The Opportunity
We’re seeking an exceptional Director of Product Management to lead HiveMQ’s Data Streaming portfolio — the connectivity and transport foundation that every other layer of our Industrial AI Platform depends on. The core product is our flagship offering: HiveMQ Enterprise Broker, the high-performance MQTT server running at the core of industrial operations at companies mentioned above and more.
A critical and differentiating element of the Enterprise Broker is its extensibility system — the mechanism by which new functionality is built in the field, validated against real customer needs, and reviewed, generalized, and graduated into the core product. Managing this well requires two things in parallel: ensuring OT teams can easily build integrations with IT systems without friction, and maintaining a healthy process by which extensions are proposed, triaged, and absorbed into the roadmap rather than accumulating as one-off customizations.
The Data Streaming layer faces a genuinely interesting strategic challenge: it is HiveMQ’s primary revenue engine today, but lighter brokers and free-tier strategies from competitors are beginning to pressure pricing in some segments. The response isn’t to double down on features — it’s to make HiveMQ the default substrate for operational agents, the only choice that compounds into Intelligence and Agentic AI in ways no alternative can match. Translating that thesis into a product roadmap is as much a PM job as a strategic one.
You’ll start as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team as the portfolio scales.
Define and drive product strategy for the Data Streaming layer of our platform with a clear thesis on how and where we should invest to drive our “expert product for experts” to be easier to deploy, easier to manage, easier to configure, etc.
Work with customers, our sales team, along with partners & alliances team to identify key integration opportunities to invest in as part of how the Data Streaming product fits within broader solutions that our customers are attempting to build
Own the product scope and sequencing for the next-generation Core Broker — evolving toward cloud-native, multi-tenancy, and Agent Experience (AX) — while holding near-term LTS and expansion commitments in parallel
Champion AX (Agent Experience) as a first-class design target alongside UX and DX: on-demand broker provisioning via API, OpenAPI specs across every capability, and the “ceremony elimination” heuristic — does this require the user or agent to reason about infrastructure, or does it just work?
Think cross-functionally and ahead: understand how Streaming connects to PLG, SLG, Expansion, and Partner motions, and make deliberate choices about where and how HiveMQ competes in the lower-end of the market
Establish clear, inspiring vision for your teams derived from company strategy, helping prioritize and reprioritize for organizational success
Drive measurable business outcomes across adoption, usage, revenue, and customer satisfaction metrics for the Data Streaming portfolio
Own the data story: work with product data analysts to instrument products effectively, measure impact, and report progress toward business objectives
Communicate value effectively through data-backed storytelling to executives, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders

What You'll Do

Your Role
As Systems Engineer / Architect for the Reactor System, you will lead the architecture, integrated design, analysis, and development of the fusion island across the full engineering lifecycle — from concept and preliminary design through detailed design, commissioning support, and operations readiness. Working at the interface of multiple engineering disciplines, you will ensure that plant systems are safe, reliable, fully integrated, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will oversee reactor and fusion island activities with a focus on technical interdependencies, alignment with key design and construction objectives, and delivery against major project milestones. A core responsibility of the role is to ensure that the final plant design is coherent, safe, and licensable.
What You'll Do
Lead, support and drive the systems engineering process including the fusion island and the fuel cycle.
Develop, enforce and maintain system architecture, design descriptions, design basis documents, requirements, and interface control documents.
Baseline definition and maintenance.
Identify and promote system-level trade studies and design option analyses to optimize performance, safety, and cost.
Ensure proper integration of all disciplines into a coherent plant design.
Apply safety principles including defense-in-depth, single failure criterion, and diversity and redundancy requirements.
Participate in design review meetings, safety review committees, and independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities.
Who You Are
Degree in engineering. M.Sc. or Ph.D. in engineering would be nice to have.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering.
Experience with requirements engineering.
Demonstrated ability to break down complex systems into manageable pieces.
Capability to perform content-based multifaceted trade-offs/balancing within the triple constraint framework.
