The role
You'll be our first marketing hire and build the function from the ground up.
Sales is owned by our Head of Sales. Your job is different: make sure enterprise buyers already know, understand, and trust YGO before sales ever reaches out.
You'll turn a technically complex product into stories, proof points, and content that decision-makers actually care about. You'll define how we position ourselves, what we say, where we show up, and how the market perceives us.
This isn't about chasing clicks or generating MQLs.
It's about building reputation.
You think in narratives, not campaigns. In trust, not clicks. In long-term positioning, not short-term metrics.
What you'll do
Positioning & Messaging
Define how the market understands YGO.
Build and own our messaging framework across customers, partners, investors, and the broader market.
Continuously sharpen our positioning as the AI infrastructure layer for travel.
Monitor competitors and industry trends to ensure YGO leads the conversation.
Create a consistent narrative used across founders, sales, product, and marketing.
Content & Thought Leadership
Turn complex technology into content people actually want to consume.
Write white papers, case studies, opinion pieces, product explainers, and deep dives.
Build content formats across LinkedIn, newsletters, webinars, videos, presentations, and whatever you believe works best.
Own our website as our most important trust asset.
Build a scalable content engine that continuously educates the market.
Proof & Market Trust
Enterprise buyers don't buy claims. They buy evidence.
Turn customer conversations into compelling case studies and references.
Communicate company milestones, launches, and traction.
Build relationships with journalists, trade media, analysts, podcast hosts, and relevant AI and travel communities.
Shape YGO's presence at conferences and trade fairs worldwide.
Founder & Company Communications
Help position our founders and YGO as leading voices in AI for travel.
Develop LinkedIn content, articles, keynote material, podcasts, interviews, and speaking opportunities.
Support investor communication and company-wide storytelling.
Sales Enablement
Help sales build trust faster.
Build pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, battle cards, and objection handling material together with our Head of Sales.
Ensure inbound interest is handed over cleanly and professionally.
Build the Marketing Function
Build the foundations.
Establish our tone of voice, visual identity, workflows, and content processes.
Introduce simple metrics that help us understand what's working.
Decide where marketing should invest its time and where it shouldn't.
What we're looking for
You have probably spent 4 to 8 years marketing complex B2B software. Maybe SaaS. Maybe AI. Maybe enterprise software.
Titles matter less than whether you've learned how to explain difficult technology in a way enterprise customers understand.
We're looking for someone who:
Understands complex products quickly and translates them into compelling stories.
Writes exceptionally well in German (native/C2) and English.
Enjoys building from scratch and works independently.
Has experience in an early-stage startup or building a marketing function.
Has a strong feel for B2B communication, especially LinkedIn and long-form content.
Enjoys talking to customers and uncovering stories worth telling.
Thinks analytically, experiments, learns, and continuously improves.
Above all, you're curious. You enjoy understanding difficult things and making them easy for others to understand.
What this role is not
This isn't performance marketing, paid acquisition, SEO, or a demand generation role.
Our biggest challenge today isn't creating demand.
It's making sure the market immediately associates YGO with AI infrastructure for travel.
