Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:
One of the UK’s most exciting unicorns with a team of over 800 people
Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
Profitable since 2017
Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)
So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.
We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.
Take ownership: you are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1
Work in small teams of exceptional people: Lendies are relentlessly resourceful. We challenge the status quo to solve problems and find smarter solutions
Build the best technology in-house: we use new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting
We're looking for an experienced, ambitious People Advisor to join our team.
Reporting to our Senior People Partner, you'll own key aspects of the employee lifecycle, from probation and absence through to family leave and flexible working, pairing process execution with commercially minded advice, so our managers and employees are well supported. You'll also get exposure to our international populations as we scale beyond the UK.
You'll balance hands-on advisory with exposure to strategic work happening across the People Partnering team (i.e. talent density, reward, leader development), leading high-impact initiatives.
How you'll meet those objectives
Employee Relations: Own probation and absence management, as well as supporting performance management. Provide practical advice to managers and employees, escalating more complex matters.
Employee Lifecycle: Lead on aspects such as family leave and flexible working requests. Act as tier-2 support for anything beyond what our self-serve bot can resolve - and help us identify where that bot itself could go further.
Wider initiatives: Support organisational change and the People agenda as we continue to scale, using AI and automation to deliver a faster, consistent experience for managers and employees.
International Support: Support onboarding, policy and benefits for our US and MX populations as we scale internationally.
Strategic Exposure: Proactively partner with the wider People Partnering team, seeking out hands-on exposure to strategic work.
Insight & Optimisation: Spot patterns and feed them back into the team, flagging where policy, process, manager coaching, or systems could improve.
What we're looking for
Experience: 3-5 years experience in a HR advisory type role.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice (US is a plus) across the whole employee lifecycle, including experience in managing a range of ER cases.
Advisory: Confidence engaging directly with managers and senior stakeholders - advising and challenging when needed.
Commercial Awareness: Use good judgement to balance business and people needs.
Autonomy: Self-driven and comfortable owning work independently, with the ability to plan and prioritise varied focuses.
Technical Curiosity: Genuinely curious about AI and how it can be used to improve People processes — you look for ways that the team can work smarter.
Ambition: Driven and hands-on, keen to build quickly in a high-growth environment.
Screening stage: 20 min Talent interview & 15 minute online assessment
Hiring manager interview: 30 minutes remote
Stakeholder interview: 30 minutes remote
Final stage in person interviews totalling 60 minutes:
Leadership interview with our Chief of Staff for the People team
Case study interview with the VP of People and Hiring Manager
Winning team: the opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies
Flexible working: flexible approach tailored to each role. Hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly; fully remote roles include regular opportunities for in-person connection through socials and off-sites
Socials & connection: opportunities and events to come together, socialise, and get to know each other beyond the office walls
Health coverage: support for your physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover
Retirement & savings: long-term financial wellbeing through retirement savings plans
Employee referral programme: earn a competitive bonus when you refer successful new team members
Office meals & snacks: enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, plus complimentary lunches prepared by in-house chefs on in-office days at select locations
Sustainable commuting: cycle-to-work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes available in select locations
Please note: The availability and details of specific benefits vary by location and role. For more information, please speak to your Talent Partner.

🚀 Why Midnite?
Midnite is a next-generation sports betting and gaming platform built for a new wave of players.
We combine sharp product thinking, bold brand, and fast execution to create experiences that feel modern, intuitive, and built for how people actually play today.
Over 400,000 players have already made the move, and we’re only just getting started.
We’re a high-performance team operating at pace. High ownership. Constant iteration. No hiding behind processes. We move quickly, test relentlessly, and turn ambitious ideas into real impact. If you’re driven, creative, and thrive in fast-moving environments where you can shape meaningful outcomes - keep reading.
Not your grandad’s bookie.
👀 The Role
Title: Lead Product Manager
Team: Product
Location: United Kingdom, Remote
Our core team powers the experiences every Midnite customer relies on - from onboarding, verification and payments to account management, safer gambling and support. As our products and markets grow, we’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to own complex problems across this foundation, bringing deep expertise in regulated customer journeys.
You’ll own strategy and roadmaps across a customer-facing Core UX team and a Core Internal team covering integrations, back-office tools and operational capabilities. Working closely with Engineering, Design and Compliance, you’ll turn complex regulatory needs into intuitive customer experiences and effective internal products.
This is not a requirements-delivery role. You’ll bring a strong product voice, challenge assumptions constructively and find better ways to achieve regulatory outcomes without unnecessary friction. Your early focus will be supporting international expansion, with the opportunity to develop deeper ownership of compliance journeys over time. You’ll be a Core Product Manager first, ready to lead wherever the biggest problems and opportunities arise.
You will:
Own strategy, discovery, roadmaps and delivery across your Core UX and Core Internal teams, turning priorities into clear problem statements, PRDs and measurable outcomes.
Shape regulated customer journeys across KYC, verification, affordability, safer gambling and player limits, balancing regulatory requirements with customer experience.
Partner closely with Compliance to understand the required outcome, challenge assumptions and develop better solutions rather than simply implementing requests.
Improve the internal systems, integrations, back-office tooling and automation that support Compliance and operational teams.
Work with your Engineering Lead and Designer through our Three Amigos model, collaborating with Data, Player Support and other stakeholders to solve cross-functional problems.
Support international market expansion by building reusable capabilities that can adapt to local requirements rather than solving the same problem repeatedly.
Prioritise ruthlessly, make confident decisions and use feedback and data to improve customer, operational and commercial outcomes.
Champion AI-native ways of working, identifying thoughtful opportunities for AI and automation while helping shape how Core evolves as Midnite scales.
The next Midniter:
Has 8+ years’ Product Management experience, with ownership of complex products in a highly regulated environment and experience in a high-growth or startup business.
Brings hands-on expertise in KYC, identity verification, affordability, AML, safer gambling, player limits or similar risk and compliance products. Fintech, banking and financial services experience is highly relevant; gambling experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
Has built strong relationships with Compliance, Risk, Legal or operational teams and can translate regulatory complexity into clear product strategy.
Challenges stakeholders constructively, explains product trade-offs clearly and takes confident ownership of decisions while respecting regulatory obligations.
Can balance customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes across both customer-facing journeys and internal capabilities.
Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, prioritises effectively and stays proactive when responsibilities and team structures evolve.
Uses AI to improve their own effectiveness and identifies considered opportunities for AI and automation in products and operations.
Brings intellectual honesty, curiosity and self-awareness, with a commitment to learning, improving and sharing expertise.
💰 Winnings
Private health insurance with zero excess, including optical cover and optional dental.
Income protection to protect your earnings and give you peace of mind.
Tenure holiday policy. After three years you receive an extra two days leave, increasing to 30 days annually after five years.
Flexible working and a fully supported home office setup so you can do your best work from home.
Nursery salary sacrifice scheme helping parents save thousands each year on nursery fees.
Salary sacrifice schemes for tech and holidays so you can spread the cost of the things you want.
Retail discounts and subscription perks across a wide range of brands.
Quarterly team socials to connect, celebrate and have fun together.
At Midnite, we’re committed to creating equal opportunities for everyone. We actively strive to build balanced teams that reflect the diversity of our communities, including ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and all genders.
We aim to provide an inclusive and supportive interview experience for all candidates. If you require any reasonable adjustments, please let us know in advance so we can ensure you feel comfortable and set up for success.

Principal Backend Engineer
UK Remote
We're looking for an exceptional Principal Backend Engineer to help make backend engineering across SchemeServe better.
You'll be one of the most technically experienced engineers in the organisation and the CTO's primary technical partner for backend engineering, helping shape our architecture, engineering principles and technical direction.
But this isn't primarily a feature delivery role and your job isn't to personally build everything you help design.
Your real job is to make our engineering organisation better at building great software.
You'll work alongside engineers and teams, helping solve difficult problems, challenging their thinking and developing their technical skills and judgement.
This is a deeply technical role.
You'll need the depth to understand complex backend systems, architecture, security, performance, resilience and maintainability; review designs and implementations; spot risks; and challenge experienced engineers.
But technical knowledge alone isn't enough.
We want someone who understands there isn't always one "correct" way to build software.
Patterns, standards and best practices are useful tools. They aren't commandments.
We care about finding the most appropriate solution to the problem in front of us.
That means understanding the problem, business, existing platform, risks and likely future – and making pragmatic decisions based on the trade-offs.
Sometimes the right answer will be a new service or technology.
Sometimes it'll be improving what we already have.
Sometimes the boring solution really is the best solution.
We're quite comfortable with that.
Success in this role comes through influence rather than authority.
We don't want every difficult technical decision to end with:
"We'd better ask the Principal Engineer."
If an engineer proposes an approach you disagree with, we don't just want you to replace it with your own.
Understand their thinking. Ask questions. Challenge assumptions. Explore the trade-offs. Share your experience.
And be prepared to change your own mind too.
The goal is to leave that engineer better equipped to solve the next problem, not just holding the answer to this one.
Your technical impact should multiply through the people around you.
You'll remain close enough to the code to understand what's actually happening and occasionally roll up your sleeves to prototype, investigate a difficult problem or unblock a team.
But if after a year you've personally written loads of brilliant software while everyone around you is working exactly as they were before, we haven't succeeded.
Our platform has been evolving for more than 25 years.
At its heart is a mature C# .NET Framework 4.7 monolith, alongside an expanding ecosystem of modern C# .NET 10 and TypeScript services.
Our backend estate includes:
We're continuing to modernise, but we're not interested in modernisation for modernisation's sake.
We aren't trying to win an award for having the most fashionable architecture diagram.
We want a secure, reliable and maintainable platform that can support SchemeServe for many years to come – and we want you to help us decide what should evolve and, just as importantly, what doesn't need changing.
You'll work closely with our CTO and engineering teams to:
You'll need:
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who asks:
"What's the right solution for us?"
rather than:
"What's the way everyone else is doing it?"
Nice To Have
You don't need to tick every box.
If you've got the technical depth, judgement and ability to make engineers around you better, we'd rather have a conversation than lose a great candidate because you haven't used one particular technology.
Within your first year:
Ultimately, we don't want SchemeServe to become dependent on you for every difficult technical decision.
We want SchemeServe to become better at making those decisions because you're here.
Friendly, supportiv...

Are you an experienced railway professional with knowledge and experience of roles like COSS, ES and PICOP?
You already understand the track and the people who work on it. We're looking for people like you to help put new safety technology into the hands of the workforce - and to be part of a big change in how track workers are kept safe.
At Tended, we create first-of-a-kind safety systems that transform rail worker safety. Our geofencing solution has been named one of TIME's Best Inventions and has made the Digital Leaders 100 list for Geospatial Initiative of the Year. It's already out there on the track, helping to keep people away from the running line and improving on site efficiency.
Network Rail is committed to geofencing for the long term, and the rollout across the Sussex region is already underway. We're looking for an Implementation Lead to help us grow our capability on the ground..
As an Implementation Lead, you're the bridge between Tended and our clients, guiding their teams through helping their teams get comfortable using our kit out on-site.
You'll lead key client deployments on the ground, working closely with Tended's project managers to deliver an excellent service. Success in this role depends on building strong, trusting relationships quickly - so first-class communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Our technology is used by track workers with a wide range of technical confidence. You'll develop a deep understanding of our products so you can coach users through their day-to-day challenges and until they’re confident using it on their own. Being on-site also puts you in a unique position to see how our products are really used - spotting ideas for how we can make it better and feeding improvements back to the team.
You'll need strong knowledge of the rail environment and the roles within it, and you'll either hold a Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification or meet the requirements to obtain one. Above all, we're looking for someone proactive and approachable - person fit matters to us.**
Travel and working pattern
This is a field-based role centred on regular client site visits across the Sussex region. You'll spend at least 3 days a week in the depot and on site, with the remaining time working remotely or in person with your line manager.
Because our users work shifts, this role covers both nightshifts and dayshifts, and includes weekend and bank holiday working - flexibility to meet the needs of the business and our clients is essential.
In return, we have excellent policies covering travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses, as well as fatigue management and time off in lieu.
A full driving licence is required.
Even if you don’t feel you have all of the requirements listed below, we’d encourage you to apply, as we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with us.
Essential
You have experience as an ES, ESA, COSS, Site Agent, or in a comparable on-site leadership role within the railway or a related industry.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence site teams and users, and turn them into capable users of our product. Experience of working with different roles, from track workers to site managers is desirable.
You are comfortable with technology and enthusiastic to develop an in-depth understanding of our products to provide on-site coaching and support to users.
You take a detailed approach and consistently follow established processes and procedures with accuracy.
You instinctively take initiative to find and fix problems, thinking out of the box to find ways to make things better.
Desirable
You might have practical, hands-on experience of on-the-ground delivery of new technologies, delivering to a range of different kinds of users with different levels of tech-savviness.
You might have experience with project management tools.
You might have some experience in project management disciplines such as planning, managing risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, budgets, scope, deliverables and quality.
You might have some commercial awareness, such as understanding how to demonstrate the value of our work to clients during delivery.
