Headquartered in Silicon Valley and with offices in London, Bangalore and Vancouver, Ema is at the frontier of what Agentic AI can do in production. We ship real systems that run real business processes at scale.
We are looking for an Engineering Leader to manage and scale multiple product lines in the Voice, BPO, and Workforce Management space. This is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the intersection of real-time voice systems, operations research, and data-intensive platform engineering.
You will report directly to the Head of Engineering and own the engineering organization that builds the infrastructure powering Ema’s Voice AI Employees, Agent QA, auto-learning pipelines, rich analytics, and workforce optimization capabilities — all operating as scalable, multi-tenant systems deployed across global geographies.
You will collaborate with Product, ML/AI, and Go-to-Market teams to translate customer needs into production systems that handle high volumes of voice data, deliver real-time insights, and continuously improve through automated learning loops. As the owner of multiple product lines, you will balance roadmap priorities across Voice, BPO operations, and WFM (work force management) — ensuring each product evolves cohesively while meeting distinct customer needs.
Architect and build multi-tenant systems that serve enterprise customers across geographies with strict data residency, isolation, and compliance requirements.
Design high-throughput ingestion systems capable of processing large volumes of voice data, call metadata, and operational telemetry in near real-time.
Make foundational architectural decisions on data stores, stream processing, and storage tiers — balancing query performance, cost, and operational simplicity.
Champion SOLID principles, clean architecture, and engineering rigor across all codebases — ensuring systems are testable, extensible, and maintainable at scale.
Recruit, hire, and develop senior engineers across a multi-disciplinary function spanning voice engineering, backend systems, data engineering, and applied operations research.
Establish engineering standards, code review culture, and a strong bias toward shipping — with equal commitment to system reliability and customer experience.
Coach and grow senior/staff engineers into technical leaders; manage engineering managers as the organization scales.
Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, ML/AI, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure the platform evolves in lockstep with customer needs and market feedback.
Own the end-to-end engineering for Ema’s AgentQA capabilities — real-time voice pipelines, telephony integrations, and voice-to-action workflows.
Build and scale the Agent QA platform: automated call scoring, compliance monitoring, sentiment analysis, and coaching feedback loops.
Design auto-learning systems that continuously improve voice agents from production interactions — closed-loop feedback, model retraining triggers, and quality regression detection.
Deliver rich voice analytics: call volume trends, handle time distributions, first-call resolution metrics, agent performance dashboards, and anomaly detection.
Build scalable voice pipeline across geographies – keeping in mind PII, security and compliance requirements.
Build WFM capabilities including demand forecasting, shift scheduling, real-time adherence monitoring, and capacity planning — applying operations research techniques to optimize workforce utilization.
Design and implement optimization algorithms for headcount modeling, skill-based routing, and workload balancing across multi-site, multi-timezone contact center operations.
Partner with ML/AI teams to integrate predictive models for call volume forecasting, attrition risk, and staffing efficiency.
12+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years leading engineering teams of 8+ engineers at high-growth startups or top-tier tech companies.
Deep expertise in building real-time, data-intensive systems.
Strong foundation in data stores and storage systems: relational databases, time-series stores, columnar analytics engines, and caching layers — with the judgment to choose the right tool for the workload.
Experience building quality software using AI-driven tools and workflows.
Track record of taking products from 0→1 and iterating rapidly based on customer feedback.
Hands-on proficiency with SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns — you write and review production code and lead by example on system design.
Experience building scalable multi-tenant SaaS platforms with data isolation, geo-distributed deployments, and compliance requirements (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
Track record of building ingestion systems for high volumes of load — event-driven architectures, stream processing (Kafka, Flink, or equivalent), and batch/real-time hybrid pipelines.
Strong product sense: ability to deeply understand customer problems in contact center, voice, and workforce domains and translate them into clean technical solutions.
Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain high-caliber engineers across multiple disciplines in competitive markets.
Experience in voice/telephony systems: WebRTC, SIP, voice-over-IP infrastructure, or contact center platforms.
Background in operations research or optimization: scheduling algorithms, linear/integer programming, constraint satisfaction, or demand forecasting models.
Experience building analytics platforms: OLAP systems, real-time dashboards, metric computation engines, or BI infrastructure.
Prior work on auto-learning or continuous improvement systems: feedback loops from production data, automated retraining pipelines, or quality monitoring systems.
Experience with AI/ML-powered products in enterprise settings — agentic automation, LLM orchestration, or AI-driven UX.
Familiarity with WFM or contact center operations — staffing models, Erlang-based capacity planning, or real-time adherence systems.
Build at the intersection of Voice AI, operations research, and enterprise-scale systems — a rare combination of deeply technical challenges with direct customer impact.
Shape the engineering foundation of a category-defining AI platform — your architectural decisions will power how the world’s largest enterprises run their voice and workforce operations.
High-impact, high-visibility role with direct access to the Head of Engineering, co-founders, and enterprise customers.
A team of exceptional engineers from Google, Meta, Microsoft Research, and top CS programs worldwide.
Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and the opportunity to build something that matters.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

Fanvue is one of the fastest-growing creator monetisation platforms globally. We're an AI-powered, creator-first platform helping creators connect, engage, and earn directly from their audiences at scale. Fanvue has surpassed $200m+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple-digit year-on-year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide.
As crypto usage on Fanvue's payment rails keeps growing, so does our exposure to crypto-specific fraud and financial crime. Recent cases have shown gaps in the Fraud team's crypto knowledge, and right now nobody on the team has dedicated crypto fraud or financial crime expertise. This role exists to build that capability from the ground up.
We're hiring Fanvue's first Fraud Investigator with dedicated crypto expertise, reporting to Head of Fraud. AI has taken our fraud detection as far as it can on crypto rails, what's missing is in-house subject matter expertise: someone who has used these investigation tools before, can set the strategy, and can train the rest of the team.
Lead on investigating cases of potential fraud or financial crime where crypto rails are involved, including payment fraud, account takeover, and money laundering typologies on crypto on/off-ramps
Build out crypto-specific fraud investigation capability within the Fraud team: on-chain tracing methods, tooling, and documented process for crypto-related cases
Train the wider Fraud team on crypto fraud red flags and typologies, so risk indicators get caught earlier in standard triage, not just by you
Design how Fanvue prevents and detects crypto-related fraud and financial crime as the function matures
Work directly with vendors to get the most out of crypto investigation tooling and data
Support fraud and financial crime investigations where crypto isn't involved, as part of the wider Fraud team's caseload
Lead on escalations to law enforcement where relevant
Feed your expertise into loss prevention strategy across Fraud, product, and payments
3+ years investigating fraud and/or financial crime with specific crypto/blockchain exposure, from an exchange, blockchain analytics firm, bank crypto desk, or law enforcement crypto unit
A process creator and improver: you've played a role in designing or improving investigation techniques, not just following them
Comfortable being the subject matter expert. As our first crypto-focused Fraud hire, you'll build the wider team's knowledge while acting as the go-to for other parts of the business (payments, payouts, product) wherever crypto risk shows up
Familiar with crypto investigation tooling (e.g. Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, etc.) and know how to get the most from it in a fraud prevention context
High ownership: excited by a large, expanding remit, and not afraid to break new ground without an existing playbook
You want to build a function from scratch rather than inherit one
You're energised by being the go-to expert and enjoy teaching others what you know
You like combining hands-on casework with process and systems design
You're comfortable working across functions, Fraud, product, payments, to get crypto risk taken seriously
You need an established playbook, team, or tooling already in place before you can be effective
You'd rather stay purely hands-on and not upskill others
You're not comfortable being the sole specialist accountable for a new risk area
Sunday Times Best Places to Work, two years running. We don't just say we have great culture, we prove it
A genuine greenfield opportunity: build Fanvue's first in-house crypto fraud capability from scratch
Direct exposure across Fraud, Payments, and Product as crypto usage grows
AI-native: we are not bolting AI on, it's core to our product and how we work
Remote-friendly across UK/Europe
High annual leave flexibility
Support with upskilling and development costs
Benefits package including gym memberships, apps, and more we're actively building out
We know that diverse teams build better products. Even if you do not meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. Potential, mindset, and ambition matter just as much as experience.

Up to £100,000 depending on experience
📍 Salary based on London. Hybrid, with flexible hours.
Fanvue is one of the fastest-growing creator monetisation platforms globally. We're an AI-powered, creator-first platform helping creators connect, engage, and earn directly from their audiences at scale. Following our recent Series A, Fanvue has surpassed $200m+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple-digit year-on-year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide.
Growth engineering at Fanvue exists to move core product metrics fast. It's a small team that reads out experiments every week, and the surface area is enormous: signup, onboarding, activation, referral loops, retention, and the funnels underneath all of them. There is far more worth testing than there are people to test it. This role exists to close that gap.
We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to work on Fanvue's Growth streams, partnering closely with Product, Design, Data and Marketing to design, ship and iterate on high-impact experiments across acquisition, onboarding, activation and retention.
This is highly execution-focused. You'll be testing ideas in production within your first weeks, not writing specs about them. The team runs on a weekly experiment cadence with real readouts, so the loop between an idea and knowing whether it worked is short, and you own both ends of it.
It suits someone who wants to be judged on whether the metric moved.
Design, build and ship growth experiments across signup, onboarding, activation and retention flows
Own features end to end, from idea through implementation, measurement and iteration
Build and refine growth loops such as referrals, sharing mechanics and viral surfaces
Run A/B and multivariate tests, and read the results honestly, including the ones that kill your own idea
Partner with Product and Design to prioritise and scope what's worth testing
Improve the performance and reliability of growth-critical user journeys
Use analytics and data tooling to guide technical and product decisions
Continuously find and remove friction in creator and fan funnels
Strong full stack engineering experience with a clear bias toward shipping
Comfortable across frontend and backend, and willing to go wherever the problem is
Experienced with modern web stacks such as TypeScript, Node.js, React and relational databases
Familiar with experimentation frameworks, analytics tooling and funnel metrics
Comfortable in ambiguity, with a strong bias toward action
Data-informed and outcome-driven rather than feature-focused
A clear communicator who works well with product, design and growth partners
High ownership, high agency, and an appetite for fast iteration
Nice to have
Experience in the creator economy, consumer subscription, marketplaces or social platforms
Hands-on with Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog or similar
A track record of growth loops you built that are still running
You'd rather ship a scrappy test this week than a polished one next quarter
You want to be measured on whether the number moved, not on what you delivered
You're happy to kill your own experiment when the data says so
You go and find the opportunity rather than waiting for it to arrive as a ticket
You prefer long planning cycles to fast iteration
You need tightly defined requirements before you can start
You optimise for technical purity over measurable impact
You're uncomfortable with a roadmap that changes when the results say it should
Sunday Times Best Places to Work, two years running. We don't just say we have great culture, we prove it
Ship work that directly moves growth, activation and revenue, and see it in the numbers the same week
Work at the intersection of product, data and engineering, with high visibility across the business
Fanvue supports hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans globally. The problems you solve here are real and immediate
Series A momentum: triple-digit growth means the work you do now sets the standard for years
Unlimited holiday
Hybrid working, with flexible hours according to when you work best
Salary reviews every six months, we don't wait for annual cycles to recognise your growth
Budget for growth and wellbeing, plus support with upskilling and development costs
A culture built on innovation, speed, excellence, ownership and transparency
We know that diverse teams build better products. Even if you do not meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. Potential, mindset, and ambition matter just as much as experience.

📍 Salary based on London. Hybrid, with flexible hours.

Following our recent Series A, Fanvue has surpassed $200m+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple-digit year-on-year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide.
We have gone from 45 people to over 130 in a year while doubling revenue. Finance has kept pace, but the processes underneath were built for a much smaller company, and our first statutory audit is coming. This role exists to build the controls and reporting discipline a business at this scale should already have.
We're hiring a Financial Controller to own Fanvue's financial operations and reporting, reporting directly to our VP Finance.
This is hands-on. You will own statutory reporting, compliance and management accounting, while strengthening controls, improving reporting accuracy and taking cost out. It suits a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge under IFRS, commercial instincts, and experience building finance processes that scale rather than inheriting ones that already work.
You will have real influence on how the finance function is built, because much of it is still being built.
Lead the month-end and quarter-end close, delivering timely and accurate reporting
Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and variance analysis
Own statutory reporting and compliance under IFRS and UK GAAP
Manage VAT filings, PAYE submissions and annual HMRC returns
Maintain and optimise Xero and the wider finance stack, including Dext, Pleo and ApprovalMax
Support annual audits and manage the relationship with external accountants
Strengthen internal controls, financial policies and reporting processes
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and margin improvement
Take on projects including R&D tax credit claims and system integrations
Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA
4 to 6 years post-qualification, ideally from Big Four, a regional practice, or high-growth tech or digital
Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK statutory reporting
Proficient in Xero and comfortable with finance automation tools
Experienced with VAT and HMRC compliance
Comfortable with consolidations and multi-currency accounting
Strong analytically, precise on detail, and proactive rather than reactive
At ease in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
Nice to have
Experience in the creator economy, a marketplace, a subscription platform or fintech
Exposure to R&D tax credits, multi-entity or multi-currency accounting
You want to build the finance function rather than run one someone else designed
You would rather fix the process than work around it for another quarter
You like being close to commercial decisions instead of reporting on them afterwards
You are comfortable being the person who says the number is wrong, and then finding out why
You want established processes, a settled close calendar and a team already in place
You would rather specialise deeply than cover a broad surface
You need someone senior to define the controls before you can implement them
You are uncomfortable with a business that changes shape faster than the reporting can keep up
Sunday Times Best Places to Work, two years running. We don't just say we have great culture, we prove it
A genuine chance to shape the finance function of a company growing this fast

Global expansion is broken. Without a local company, conversion rates fall, costs rise, and compliance gets messy. Outpost fixes it.
Selling internationally is a maze of tax, payments, and operational friction. Most brands avoid it, or expand slowly and expensively.
Outpost is your modular back office for global commerce.
Pick only what you need - tax, payments, treasury, or operations - and unlock new markets without the overhead. Sometimes we become liable for a merchant's taxes. Sometimes we become the legal reseller in each market and carry the payments, tax and compliance risk. Other times, we give you the tools to do it yourself.
We go live wherever a merchant needs to sell next, for digital and physical goods. That means we own the full stack - payments, tax, compliance, treasury, and merchant experience.
Sell anything, anywhere. Without compromise.
We're looking for a Payment Operations hire to own the part of Outpost where the money actually moves.
When we become the legal reseller in a market, we take the payment. Every merchant we onboard gets its own merchant ID and its own merchant category code, never pooled into one shared code, which is exactly why our approval rates beat the alternatives. Keeping that true across every market, every processor and every merchant is the job.
This is a quantitative role in an operational seat. You'll live in the transaction data: why authorisation rates differ by market, issuer, card type and hour of day, what a routing change is actually worth, where a 40 basis point cost difference is hiding, which decline codes are recoverable and which are noise. Then you'll act on it, with processors, with engineering, and with merchants.
You won't be siloed. Payments at Outpost touches pricing, treasury, tax and the product roadmap, and you'll be pulled into all of it. But your edge is the numbers, and we want someone whose first instinct on any problem is to pull the data and model it.
You'll work directly with the founding team and with engineering, who will build what you spec.
Yes, the work is intense. But in return you'll get scope and exposure most people wait 10 to 20 years to access.
You'll own economics that decide whether the company is profitable, negotiate with processors and banks as a principal rather than a customer, and get to see the full machinery of cross-border payments from the inside. We won't handhold, but we'll coach you hard.
Build the system
Run payment operations agentically. Build agentic system that monitor approval rates, triage declines, assemble dispute evidence, chase reconciliation breaks and draft the processor follow-up, so humans only touch the exceptions. You'll design the workflows, set the guardrails, and audit what the agents produce
Write the playbooks: new processor onboarding, new market launch, incident response, dispute handling
Onboard new processors, banking partners and local acquiring as we launch new markets
Own payments performance
Own approval rates by market, processor, issuer, card type and merchant, and know why each one moves
Build and run routing logic. Decide what goes where, prove the uplift, and iterate
Run decline recovery: retry logic, network tokens, account updater, 3DS strategy and exemption handling
Run chargeback operations and fraud strategy. Set thresholds, represent disputes, keep merchants inside scheme limits
Own the payment incident path. When authorisations drop in one market at, you're the one who spots it and fixes it
Own the economics
Build full visibility into cost per transaction: scheme fees, interchange, processor margin, FX, and where each one leaks
Own processor relationships day to day. Performance reviews, pricing negotiations, new partner evaluation
Model the trade-off between approval rate and cost by market, and make the call
Feed real payment economics into how we price merchants
Own the money movement
Settlement, reconciliation and payouts. Every penny accounted for, every break chased down
Reserve logic and settlement timing by merchant segment and risk profile
Work with treasury on funding, FX exposure and cash timing across our local companies
Take a market from a 66% approval rate to 90% or better, and prove exactly which changes did it
Build the routing framework that optimises approval rate against cost, market by market
Renegotiate processor pricing using our own volume and performance data
Build the cost-per-transaction model across every processor and market, and find the basis points nobody is watching
Debug delays in settlement and fix them across engineering, operations and the processor
Design reserve and settlement logic for a new merchant segment and implement it
Cut chargeback rate through better fraud tooling and merchant policy
Evaluate and onboard a new processor for local acquiring in Latin America or Asia
Build the payments monitoring layer so anomalies find us, not the other way round
Ideal background:
A STEM or quantitative degree is strongly preferred - mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, statistics, econometrics or similar.
3 to 7+ years in payment operations, payment analytics, or a data or analytics role that moved into payments, at a processor, acquirer, or high-volume fintech (Adyen, Stripe, Checkout.com, Nuvei, Worldpay, Revolut, Wise, Dojo, Airwallex or similar)
Strong analytical skills — advanced Excel or Sheets, experience with BI tools, and the ability to build models and run analyses independently without waiting for a data team.
Bonus: experience at platforms that act as the legal reseller (Global-e, Digital River, Paddle), local acquiring outside Europe and the US, interchange and scheme fee economics, or a background in data science or quantitative consulting before payments
Signals we care about:
Ridiculous bias for action. You solve, you don't observe
Analytically strong and commercially sharp. You quantify the opportunity before you argue for it
Systems thinker who still does the work. You fix the transaction, then remove the reason it broke
Strong EQ. Processors, banks and merchants all need managing, often at the same time
Exceptionally hard working. You see work as a core part of your purpose
Fluent in ambiguity and chaos. Startups are not neat, this will be hard
Curious and resourceful. You can figure anything out
Clear, quantified achievements on your CV, not vague descriptions
What this role is not:
Not a payments strategy role without operational depth. You'll be in the dashboards daily
Not a pure analytics role. The analysis is the start, the change is the job
Not a narrow specialist seat. Payments here touches pricing, treasury, tax and product
Not for someone who needs defined processes and hierarchy to be effective
Most companies treat payments as a cost centre someone else manages. Here it is the product and the margin at the same time.
We take legal responsibility for our merchants' payments. That means a point of approval rate is real revenue for them and real evidence for us, and a basis point of cost is real profit. Very few people get to own that surface this early, with this much data and this little bureaucracy in the way.
We expect whoever is in this role to grow rapidly, and we'll back you every step of the way.
Our team were leaders at Revolut, Airwallex, Adyen and Wayflyer, and we're backed by top-tier investors who have built or backed some of the world's leading fintechs.
Equity and salary in a well-funded startup
Ability to own your work and move fast
World-class training from operators who've scaled globally
A global mission with real impact
Low politics, high output
Chance to grow into a senior leadership role
A culture of builders, not talkers

We're looking for our first Revenue Operations hire: the person who owns how revenue actually works at Outpost.
Your job is to build the RevOps machine. One source of truth for pipeline. One model that turns a merchant's volume, markets and product mix into a price. One set of numbers that the CEO, the board and the commercial team all agree on. And a handover from signed contract to live merchant that never drops anything.
This is a hands-on build role, not a reporting layer. You'll sit between sales, marketing, and operations, and you'll be the only person who can see the whole revenue system at once. You'll design it, instrument it, automate it, and then run it until it's good enough to hand over.
You'll work directly with the CEO, the Chief of Staff and the founding team.
Yes, the work is intense. But in return you'll get scope and exposure most people wait 10 to 20 years to access.
You'll own a core function at a company solving one of the hardest problems in global commerce, you'll see every commercial decision before it happens, and you'll build a function from scratch with real budget and real backing. We won't handhold, but we'll coach you hard.
Own the revenue system
Own the CRM (Attio) end to end: object model, stage definitions, required fields, hygiene, automation
Build the forecasting system and operationalise it with weekly pipeline review, monthly board numbers, and quarterly planning
Own the GTM stack: outbound sequencing, enrichment, routing, deduplication, attribution
Run the pipeline agentically. Build agentic system that enrich accounts, draft follow-ups, surface stalled deals and keep the CRM clean, so the team spends its time on the conversations and not the admin. You'll design the workflows, write the prompts, set the guardrails, and audit what the agents produce
Analytics & performance insights
Own the revenue metrics that matter: GMV, ARR, take rate, win rate, sales cycle, pipeline coverage, cost of acquisition
Build the reporting the company runs on, and the pack investors see
Build the pricing and quoting model, and the deal desk discipline around it.
Operational execution
Own the handover from signed contract to live merchant, with operations, tax and engineering
Instrument time-to-live and revenue ramp, then attack both
Feed commercial reality back into the roadmap. You'll know which deals we lose and why before anyone else does
Build the function
Write the playbooks: qualification, scoping, pricing approval, renewal, expansion
Set the standard for what good data looks like, and hold the line on it
Hire behind you once the system is running
Rebuild the pipeline in Attio so every deal has a stage definition, an owner, a close date and a modelled value, and the weekly review takes 20 minutes instead of two hours
Build the pricing calculator that turns a merchant's volume, market mix and product mix into a price, and retire the per-deal spreadsheet
Cut time from signed contract to first live transaction by half, working across operations, tax and engineering
Build the weekly revenue pack and the monthly investor pack, and automate the data pull behind both
Design the commission plan for the first commercial hires
Score the lead universe against our ICP and rebuild outbound targeting on top of it
Instrument the full funnel from LinkedIn and outbound through to closed won, and prove which channel actually pays
Forecast GMV by market and product, and tell the founding team where the $1BN does and doesn't come from
Ideal background:
4 to 7 years in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, or GTM strategy at a high-growth fintech, payments company, or B2B SaaS
Has built a revenue system from zero, not inherited a mature one
Fluent in CRM architecture and the outbound stack. We run Attio, Instantly and Apollo, but the tool matters less than knowing how to design the model underneath it
Strong analytical skills — advanced Excel or Sheets, experience with BI tools
Signals we care about:
Ridiculous bias for action. You solve, you don't observe
Systems thinker who still does the work. You fix the broken report, then remove the reason it broke
Analytically strong. You can quantify a process, not just describe it
Strong EQ. You'll be telling experienced commercial people their data is wrong, and they need to thank you for it
Exceptionally hard working. You see work as a core part of your purpose
Fluent in ambiguity and chaos. Startups are not neat, this will be hard
Curious and resourceful. You can figure anything out
Clear, quantified achievements on your CV, not vague descriptions
What this role is not:
Not a reporting or BI role where you build dashboards and hand them over
Not a sales role, and not a sales-support role that takes instructions from account executives
Not a CRM administrator job. The tool is the smallest part of it
Not for someone who needs defined processes and hierarchy to be effective
Most revenue operations roles inherit a system and tune it. You'll write ours.
At a company that takes on legal liability for its merchants, revenue operations is not admin. Pricing accuracy is margin. Time-to-live is retention. Forecast quality is how we decide what to build and who to hire. Get it right and the whole company moves faster, permanently.
We expect whoever is in this role to grow rapidly into leading the function, and we'll back you every step of the way.
Our team were leaders at Revolut, Airwallex, Adyen and Wayflyer, and we're backed by top-tier investors who have built or backed some of the world's leading fintechs.
Equity and salary in a well-funded startup
Ability to own your work and move fast

Global expansion is broken. Without a local entity, conversion rates fall, costs rise, and compliance gets messy. Outpost fixes it.
Selling internationally is a maze of tax, payments, and operational friction. Most brands avoid it or expand slowly and expensively.
Outpost is your modular back office for global commerce.
Pick only what you need — tax, payments, treasury, or operations — and unlock new markets without the overhead. Sometimes we act as Merchant of Record, taking on tax and compliance risk. Other times, we give you the tools to do it yourself.
We operate across 58+ tax jurisdictions for digital and physical goods. That means we own the full stack — payments, tax, compliance, treasury, and merchant experience.
Sell anything, anywhere. Without compromise.
We're looking for our Head of Operations: the person who owns how Outpost actually runs.
Today, operations at Outpost is a set of processes held together by a small group of very good people. Merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, market launches, tax registrations, payouts, treasury approvals, chargebacks, merchant support — it all works, but it works because people push it. Your job is to turn that into a machine.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a management layer. You'll own the operational stack end to end: onboarding and activation, merchant operations, payments and treasury ops, compliance monitoring, and new market launches. You'll design the processes, build the tooling requirements with engineering, write the playbooks, and then run them yourself until they're good enough to hand over.
You'll hire and grow a small team behind you, but for the first stretch you are the team. If your instinct when something breaks is to open the dashboard and fix it rather than schedule a meeting about it, you'll do well here.
You'll work directly with the CEO and founding team, and you'll have a real say in what Outpost builds — operations is the sharpest source of product signal we have.
Yes, the work is intense. But in return, you'll get scope and exposure most people wait 10–20 years to access.
You'll own a core function of a company solving one of the hardest problems in global commerce, work with senior stakeholders across PSPs, banks, tax authorities and merchants, and build a team from scratch. We won't handhold, but we'll coach you hard.
Own the operational stack
Own merchant onboarding end to end: applications, KYC/KYB, risk review, activation, time-to-live
Run merchant operations day to day — support escalations, payouts, settlements, disputes
Own treasury operations: proceeds requests, money movement, reserves, reconciliation
Monitor merchant risk and compliance thresholds (chargebacks, fraud, refunds) and act before they become losses
Own payment operations alongside engineering: auth rates, routing, decline recovery, chargeback and fraud strategy
Build the system, not just the output
Turn manual processes into documented, repeatable, measurable playbooks
Define the operational metrics that matter and build the reporting so the company can see them
Work with engineering to spec and prioritise internal tooling — you are the customer for our internal ops platform
Kill work: automate, template, or delete anything that doesn't need a human
Make Outpost able to double merchant volume without doubling ops headcount
Launch and scale
Launch new markets with full legal, tax, payments, and operational setup
Onboard new PSPs, banking partners, and local acquiring in new geographies
Build the operational side of new products and merchant segments before they go live
Feed market and merchant reality back into the product roadmap
Lead
Hire, onboard, and grow a small operations team
Set standards: what good looks like, how fast we respond, what we never get wrong
Be the operational voice in company planning — what we can support, when, and at what cost
Redesign merchant onboarding to cut time-to-live by 50% without weakening KYB
Build the operational launch playbook for three new markets and run the first one yourself
Debug delays in payouts and fix them across engineering, ops, compliance, and PSPs
Design reserve and settlement logic for a new merchant segment and implement it
Build the ops metrics dashboard: onboarding funnel, time-to-live, ticket volume, payout SLA, chargeback rate
Cut chargeback rate through better fraud tooling and merchant policy
Spec the next version of our internal ops tooling with engineering and ship it
Write the merchant VAT compliance playbook across EU markets with the tax team
Hire and onboard the first two operations analysts and get them productive in 30 days
Ideal background:
6–10 years in operations at high-growth fintech, payments, or e-commerce infrastructure (Revolut, Stripe, Adyen, Wise, Mollie, Airwallex, Checkout.com, or similar)
Has owned a function or a large slice of one — onboarding, merchant ops, payment ops, or risk ops — not just executed within it
Experience building processes from zero, not inheriting them
Bonus: MoR platforms (Global-e, Digital River, Paddle), cross-border tax exposure, or PSP/acquirer operations
Comfortable with data — SQL, spreadsheets, dashboards. You measure before you decide
Signals we care about:
Ridiculous bias for action — you solve, not observe
Systems thinker who still does the work — you fix the ticket and then remove the reason it existed
Analytically strong — you can quantify a process, not just describe it
Strong EQ — you know how to read a room, a customer, or a blocker
Exceptionally hard working — you see work as a core part of your purpose
Fluent in ambiguity and chaos — startups are not neat, this will be hard
Curious and resourceful — you can figure anything out
Comfortable getting hands dirty — your default mode is to do, not delegate
Clear, quantified achievements on your CV (not vague descriptions)
What this role is not:
Not a people-management role where you run a team that does the work
Not a process-maintenance role — nothing here is finished
Not a single-function specialist who wants to stay in payments, or compliance, or support
Not someone who needs defined processes and hierarchy to be effective
This isn't about maintaining processes — it's about building the operating system of Outpost from the ground up. You won't just be in the room, you'll be writing the agenda.
Operations at an MoR is not a back-office function. It is the product. How fast merchants go live, whether money arrives on time, whether we catch risk before it costs us — that's what customers buy and where our margin lives. You'll own it.
We expect whoever is in this role to grow rapidly, and we'll back you every step of the way.
Our team were leaders at Revolut, Airwallex, Adyen and Wayflyer — and we're backed by top-tier investors who have built or backed some of the world's leading fintechs.
Equity and salary in a well-funded startup
Ability to own your work and move fast

Are you an experienced railway professional with knowledge and experience of roles like COSS, ES and PICOP?
You already understand the track and the people who work on it. We're looking for people like you to help put new safety technology into the hands of the workforce - and to be part of a big change in how track workers are kept safe.
At Tended, we create first-of-a-kind safety systems that transform rail worker safety. Our geofencing solution has been named one of TIME's Best Inventions and has made the Digital Leaders 100 list for Geospatial Initiative of the Year. It's already out there on the track, helping to keep people away from the running line and improving on site efficiency.
Network Rail is committed to geofencing for the long term, and the rollout across the Sussex region is already underway. We're looking for an Implementation Lead to help us grow our capability on the ground..
As an Implementation Lead, you're the bridge between Tended and our clients, guiding their teams through helping their teams get comfortable using our kit out on-site.
You'll lead key client deployments on the ground, working closely with Tended's project managers to deliver an excellent service. Success in this role depends on building strong, trusting relationships quickly - so first-class communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Our technology is used by track workers with a wide range of technical confidence. You'll develop a deep understanding of our products so you can coach users through their day-to-day challenges and until they’re confident using it on their own. Being on-site also puts you in a unique position to see how our products are really used - spotting ideas for how we can make it better and feeding improvements back to the team.
You'll need strong knowledge of the rail environment and the roles within it, and you'll either hold a Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification or meet the requirements to obtain one. Above all, we're looking for someone proactive and approachable - person fit matters to us.**
Travel and working pattern
This is a field-based role centred on regular client site visits across the Sussex region. You'll spend at least 3 days a week in the depot and on site, with the remaining time working remotely or in person with your line manager.
Because our users work shifts, this role covers both nightshifts and dayshifts, and includes weekend and bank holiday working - flexibility to meet the needs of the business and our clients is essential.
In return, we have excellent policies covering travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses, as well as fatigue management and time off in lieu.
A full driving licence is required.
Even if you don’t feel you have all of the requirements listed below, we’d encourage you to apply, as we’re looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with us.
Essential
You have experience as an ES, ESA, COSS, Site Agent, or in a comparable on-site leadership role within the railway or a related industry.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence site teams and users, and turn them into capable users of our product. Experience of working with different roles, from track workers to site managers is desirable.
You are comfortable with technology and enthusiastic to develop an in-depth understanding of our products to provide on-site coaching and support to users.
You take a detailed approach and consistently follow established processes and procedures with accuracy.
You instinctively take initiative to find and fix problems, thinking out of the box to find ways to make things better.
Desirable
You might have practical, hands-on experience of on-the-ground delivery of new technologies, delivering to a range of different kinds of users with different levels of tech-savviness.
You might have experience with project management tools.
You might have some experience in project management disciplines such as planning, managing risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, budgets, scope, deliverables and quality.
You might have some commercial awareness, such as understanding how to demonstrate the value of our work to clients during delivery.

We’re looking for a passionate Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team at STRATOS – someone eager to sit at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world impact.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders to embed our platform deep into their operations – transforming strategic intent into live systems that drive measurable results. In today’s world, where the last mile of implementation creates the competitive moat, you’ll be the catalyst turning software into scale.
About Us
At STRATOS Technologies, we are transforming how companies make data-driven decisions with our innovative Strategy Operating System. Our software integrates complex datasets into a unified solution, enabling businesses to strengthen their long-term strategies through clear and actionable insights.
Our founders, former business and tech executives who led a $1B division at a Fortune 500 industrial company, originally built a digital twin of their enterprise to drive synchronized planning and execution. Seeing the market’s lack of such a system, they launched STRATOS in 2022 with a bold mission: to build the world’s first strategy operating system that unifies all internal and external data into a single platform.
