Software Engineer (Fleet) - London
Teton – London

About Us

At Teton, we are redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting-edge AI technology. Facing a global nursing shortage, our solutions offer vital support to overburdened health systems. With thousands of patient rooms across 4 countries already benefiting from our technology, we are aiming to expand to much more. We distinguish ourselves by focusing relentlessly on product excellence and user experience, rapidly deploying solutions that make a real difference.

The Job

Every patient room we deploy into puts another device on infrastructure we don't control, in a building we can't easily visit, running software that has to keep working. We're looking for an Engineer to own that problem: the systems, tooling, and infrastructure that let us ship to thousands of edge devices confidently and understand what they're doing once they're out there.

In this role, you will focus on the following areas of interest:

  • Fleet Management: Build and run the systems that provision, monitor, and manage our devices in the field, from first boot in a hospital room to end of life.

  • OTA & Release Engineering: Own how software gets onto devices: staged rollouts, health checks, automatic rollback, and the confidence that a bad release won't take down a ward.

  • Observability: Design the telemetry, logging, and alerting that tell us a device is degrading before a nurse notices. Make remote debugging possible so we don't fly to fix things.

  • Device Bring-Up & Debugging: Work with our hardware and firmware teams on new hardware revisions, reproduce field issues on the bench, and get to the bottom of problems that span kernel, driver, network, and application.

  • Infrastructure & Tooling: Build the CI/CD, image builds, and internal tools that let the whole engineering team ship to hardware quickly and safely.

  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of your work to ensure easy collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience running Linux systems in production: ideally embedded or edge Linux, not just cloud VMs.

  • Proficiency in Rust and/or Javascript/Typescript and/or Python

  • Experience with device fleets at scale: provisioning, OTA update mechanisms (Mender, RAUC, balena, or something you built yourself), and remote access to constrained devices.

  • Familiarity with Linux internals: systemd, kernel modules, device tree, networking stack, containers.

  • Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar) and designing what to measure, not just wiring up dashboards.

  • Comfortable with hardware debugging: serial consoles, working alongside hardware engineers

  • Understanding of communication protocols and how devices talk to each other and to us: I2C, SPI, UART, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MQTT.

  • Pragmatism about networks you don't control: restrictive hospital IT, VLANs, proxies, flaky Wi-Fi, and long offline periods.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Experience with the NVIDIA Jetson platform and Linux for Tegra is a big plus.

  • Experience with Yocto, Debian packaging, or custom image builds is a plus.

  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology field is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Participation in our warrant program (stock options).

  • Work with state-of-the-art technology in a pioneering field.

  • A vibrant, learning-focused work environment.

  • A role where you can make a significant impact on healthcare delivery.

Software Engineer (Frontend) - London
Teton – London

About Us

Teton is redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting-edge AI technology and a great product experience. As populations get older and staff shortages grow, healthcare systems are under pressure. Our mission is to decrease the cost of healthcare while improving the quality of care.

Our product enables care teams to intervene, prevent and operate more efficiently. Our ambient sensors in resident rooms capture activity, sleep, respiration, gait and more. These signals are used both to react fast to risk events, like falls, and for long-term health analysis that care teams can act on.

Teton is scaling fast, operating in the Nordics, UK, DACH and US. We recently raised a $20M Series A. Expect travel to the US to meet users and team members.

We focus relentlessly on product excellence and user experience, deploying solutions at speed that make a tangible difference for carers. We are an aspiring meritocracy biased towards action, always striving to raise the bar. If you are driven by impact, speed and leveling up, this might be the place for you.

If you are looking for a 9-17 job, perform best with structure and struggle dealing with unknowns, this is not for you. We believe close collaboration between a hard-working, high-agency team enables the fastest and most efficient iteration cycles, helping us build an impactful product that healthcare professionals truly love to use.

The Job

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to own customer-facing features from the first conversation with a care team to the feature running in production. Care workers rely on our product during every shift and care managers use it to follow up on their residents, on mobile and on the web. This isn't a ticket-taking role. You'll talk to users, cut scope, build the features, and check afterwards whether what you shipped actually made a shift easier. Alongside that, you'll help own the quality of how we build: the tests, pipelines and guardrails that let us ship fast without breaking what care teams depend on.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Feature Development: Own features end-to-end, from design discussions through implementation to production rollout across multiple markets and languages, on the web app, the mobile app and the APIs behind them.

  • Customer Insight: Talk to care staff and our customer success team every week, visit care facilities, and turn what you hear into clearly scoped product changes. Come with ideas, sketch the solution, and push it forward.

  • Code Quality & Guardrails: Help own code quality across the frontend. Improve our CI/CD pipelines and automated tests, keep the infrastructure scalable, and build the guardrails that let AI coding agents contribute safely.

  • Backend & APIs: Work with the APIs, data models and services your features need. You will not just consume APIs, you will help shape, improve and fix the systems behind them.

  • Quality, Privacy & Safety: Ship with care for health data: sensible access control, auditability and privacy by default. Use staged rollouts so new features never get in the way of the alerts care teams depend on.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience building production web applications.

  • Strong TypeScript skills: this is the language for everything we build.

  • Solid production experience with React on the web and/or React Native.

  • Experience with CI/CD and automated testing, and a strong sense of what good code quality looks like.

  • Great product taste and a keen eye for UX. You work well with designers and can make sensible design decisions yourself when needed.

  • Comfortable talking directly with non-technical users and turning messy feedback into concrete decisions.

  • Previous startup experience and/or shipping a product where you owned the outcome, from idea to adoption.X

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with React Native and Expo in production.

  • Experience working with AI coding agents in a real codebase.

  • AWS or equivalent cloud platform experience.

  • Familiarity with TanStack, real-time systems or push notifications.

  • Experience with health data or other regulated, privacy-sensitive domains (e.g. GDPR).

What We Offer

  • Participation in our warrant program (stock options).

  • A small team where your decisions directly shape the product.

  • A Copenhagen-based office with close collaboration, no async-only culture.

  • Work on software that healthcare workers depend on every day, the impact is tangible and immediate.

The Job

We're looking for a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our Mobile team building the tools that care workers rely on during every shift. Our app runs 24/7 in care facilities delivering real-time alerts and monitoring residents. This isn't a typical app dev role. You'll work across the full stack, from React Native UI to backend infrastructure, in an environment where reliability directly impacts patient safety.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Feature Development: Own features end-to-end from design discussions through implementation to production rollout across multiple markets and languages.

  • Reliability & Debugging: Keep our real-time alert pipeline rock-solid. Debug push notification delivery on Android and iOS, investigate ANR issues, troubleshoot weird bugs in care environments with unreliable Wi-Fi.

  • Backend, Infrastructure & Systems: Work across backend services, databases, cloud infrastructure, and internal platforms to support the systems our app depends on. You will not just consume APIs, you will help shape, improve, and fix the systems behind them.

  • Testing & Validation: Build automated test coverage (e.g. Maestro for E2E) across a range of devices and OS versions. Validate that alerts arrive when they must.

  • Developer Experience: Improve shared components, internal tooling, and build pipelines so the team ships faster with fewer surprises.

Qualifications:

  • Strong TypeScript skills - this is the language for everything we build.

  • Solid experience with React Native and Expo in production.

  • Comfortable working across the stack: you've touched databases, queues, or cloud infra not just UI.

  • Experience with native iOS or Android development (Kotlin/Swift) is a strong plus we occasionally need to go below the managed Expo layer.

  • Familiar with real-time systems, push notifications, or TanStack is a plus.

  • AWS or equivalent cloud platform experience.

  • Previous startup experience and/or shipping a product where you owned the outcome.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Whether you are resolving a delayed prescription, providing reassurance or working with our Pharmacy team to find a solution, the way you communicate and support our patients really matters.

This is not your typical customer service role. It requires patience, empathy, resilience and exceptional attention to detail. You will need to be comfortable managing challenging conversations, working under pressure and taking ownership of queries in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Previous healthcare experience would be an advantage, but what matters most is your ability to communicate with compassion, remain calm under pressure and genuinely care about the difference you can make.

What is the job?

As a Patient Support Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients with pharmacy and medication-related queries, ensuring they receive clear, accurate and timely information.

You will work closely with our Pharmacy, Clinical and wider Patient Support teams to resolve issues, provide updates and help ensure patients receive their medication safely and efficiently.

This is a telephone-heavy role where you will manage a high volume of patient enquiries, often involving sensitive or complex situations. You will need to balance empathy with efficiency, ensuring every patient feels listened to while maintaining the accuracy and standards expected within a regulated healthcare environment.

Location and working pattern

  • Hybrid working from our Winnersh Triangle office, with three days on site and two days working from home following completion of training.

  • Full-time position, working five days per week.

  • Weekend working is required as part of the five-day working week.

  • Shifts are 7:30am to 4:30pm or 9:30am to 6:30pm, including a one-hour lunch break.

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as the first point of contact for patients, primarily over the telephone, providing professional, compassionate and accurate support.

  • Managing patient enquiries relating to prescriptions, medication availability, deliveries and potential delays.

  • Taking ownership of patient queries, working proactively to resolve issues and keeping patients informed throughout.

  • Working closely with our Pharmacy team to investigate and resolve medication-related concerns.

  • Liaising with Pharmacy Dispensers regarding stock availability, prescription processing and dispensing queries.

  • Supporting communication between patients, Pharmacy, Clinical teams and healthcare professionals to ensure information is shared accurately and efficiently.

  • Providing appropriate guidance on prescription processes and medication-related queries, escalating clinical questions to qualified healthcare professionals.

  • Recognising when patients require additional support and escalating complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate teams, including Clinical Governance.

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, ensuring all information is documented in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborating with remote colleagues to support tasks that require action on site.

  • Working collaboratively across teams to improve the patient experience and support the safe and timely delivery of medication.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people, takes pride in delivering excellent service and understands the importance of getting the details right.

Essential skills and experience

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a customer service or patient-facing environment.

  • Experience handling a high volume of telephone enquiries and managing challenging conversations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy, patience and professionalism.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Confidence using multiple IT systems and the ability to learn new processes quickly.

  • The ability to prioritise competing demands, manage a busy workload and remain calm under pressure.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to take ownership of issues through to resolution.

  • An understanding of the importance of following policies, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs), particularly within a regulated environment.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within healthcare, pharmacy or another highly regulated environment.

  • Experience supporting patients or customers with sensitive, complex or time-critical enquiries.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary

  • 25 days' annual leave, increasing to 27 days after one year and 30 days after two years, plus bank holidays

  • 5% matched pension contribution

  • Cycle-to-work scheme

  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression

  • A supportive and collaborative working environment

  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patients' lives

Technical Product Manager
Bjak – United Kingdom

About the Role

There are over 5 billion users using basic applications today such email, notes, tasks, calendar and they're not AI-native. Our mission is to build proactive applications for anyone in the world, who are not used to complex prompting. We aim to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows, with minimal to no prompting.

Our product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. We believe products will greatly reduce hallucinations

Our objective is to organise anyone's life, allowing us all to spend time on valuable and meaningful things

As Technical Product Manager, AI Systems, you work at the intersection of user needs, model capability, and engineering constraints. You will work directly with ML and engineering teams to define how the system should behave, how we measure it, and how we continuously improve it.

This is a deeply technical, hands-on role. You are expected to understand the system and challenge technical decisions.

What You'll Own

  • Define end-to-end requirements for AI capabilities, from model behavior to system behavior to user experience.

  • Translate model capabilities, evaluation results, and technical constraints into clear product and system decisions.

  • Make trade-offs across quality, latency, cost, reliability, safety, and UX.

  • Work closely with ML, backend, and client engineers on system design, evaluation, and iteration.

  • Define and evolve evaluation frameworks across offline metrics, online experiments, and human feedback.

  • Establish clear quality bars and feedback loops for AI-powered experiences.

  • Drive execution through clear specifications, prioritization, and strong technical judgment.

  • Identify failure modes and ensure AI systems behave predictably and recover gracefully.

  • Own product quality end-to-end, correctness, reliability, usefulness, and user trust.

What We're Looking For

Technical

  • Strong computer science fundamentals and system design skills.

  • Solid understanding of modern ML and how AI systems behave in production.

  • Comfortable reading technical designs, understanding architectures, and engaging deeply with engineers.

  • Strong intuition for model limitations, hallucinations, evaluation, and failure modes.

Product & AI

  • Significant experience owning complex, technical products end-to-end.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered products, particularly LLM-based systems.

  • Experience with model evaluation, experimentation, prompting, or AI system iteration.

  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and executable plans.

  • Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions when the right answer is not obvious.

Mindset

  • Highly technical, curious, and comfortable going deep.

  • Strong bias toward shipping, experimentation, and learning from real-world usage.

  • Able to challenge engineers and researchers constructively while maintaining strong collaboration.

  • Comfortable operating with significant ownership in a fast-moving, zero-to-one environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience shipping AI-heavy consumer products.

  • Background as an engineer or highly technical product manager.

  • Experience defining evaluation metrics for ML systems.

  • Strong intuition for AI UX patterns and failure handling.

  • Prior experience in zero-to-one product environments.

An engineering background is a strong plus, but what matters most is the ability to reason deeply about both AI systems and product outcomes.

Outcomes

  • Product strategy clearly aligns AI capabilities with user needs and company priorities.

  • AI features deliver real value, are understandable, predictable, and trusted by users.

  • Decisions balance quality, speed, cost, and reliability effectively under uncertainty.

  • Roadmaps and priorities are clear, with fast iteration based on real user feedback.

  • Teams are aligned, focused, and able to execute on AI product goals with minimal friction.

How We Work

We are a small, high-talent-density, hands-on team. Engineers and product leaders have broad ownership and are expected to exercise strong judgment and execute independently.

We make decisions quickly, work closely together, and balance speed with engineering fundamentals. We care less about process and more about building something exceptional.

Interview process

If there appears to be a fit, we'll reach to schedule 3, but no more than 4 interviews.

Applications are evaluated by our technical team members. Interviews will be conducted via virtual meetings and/or onsite.

We value transparency and efficiency, so expect a prompt decision. If you've demonstrated the exceptional skills and mindset we're looking for, we'll extend an offer to join us. This isn't just a job offer; it's an invitation to be part of a team that's bringing AI to have practical benefits to billions globally.

Staff Software Engineer, AI Email App

As Staff Software Engineer, AI Email App, you own the engineering layer that turns AI capability into a reliable product. You will shape the architecture across backend services, APIs, and client applications, while leading a small team of senior engineers.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You stay close to the code, make critical architectural decisions, and ensure the system remains fast, reliable, and coherent as it scales.

What You'll Own

  • Own the application engineering strategy and execution across backend, mobile, and desktop.

  • Design reliable systems for AI-powered workflows, including state, orchestration, tool use, retries, fallbacks, and failure handling.

  • Build the APIs and abstractions that connect AI systems to real-world product experiences.

  • Lead a small, senior engineering team and raise the technical bar through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on mentorship.

  • Make high-impact trade-offs across latency, reliability, cost, security, and user experience.

  • Establish strong production foundations: observability, monitoring, testing, and operational excellence.

  • Partner closely with ML leadership to turn model capabilities into robust, shippable product experiences.

  • Move quickly while keeping the architecture simple, maintainable, and ready to scale.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience leading application or product engineering for complex systems.

  • Strong hands-on background building and shipping backend systems used in production.

  • Experience building AI-powered products or systems that integrate with modern ML/LLM capabilities.

  • Strong technical judgment and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.

  • Comfortable working across backend and client platforms, with deep expertise in at least one.

  • A strong bias toward ownership, shipping, and learning from real-world usage.

  • High standards for code quality, reliability, and engineering fundamentals.

Outcomes

  • Production systems are observable, monitored, and stable under real-world load.

  • Decisions consistently balance speed, cost, reliability, and user experience.

  • Features across backend, mobile, and desktop work smoothly and reliably.

  • Latency and reliability improve measurably over time.

How We Work

We are a small, high-talent-density, hands-on team. Engineers have broad ownership and are expected to exercise strong judgment and execute independently.

Engineer, Accounting Data and Infrastructure Systems
Deliveroo – London, England, United Kingdom

Our Global Structure

Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we're unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

About the Team

It's an exciting time to join our rapidly growing Accounting team with ample development opportunities. We're growing the Revenue Data team with Engineering and Accounting Data openings to drive automation and systems infrastructure. All whilst while keeping pace within one of the fastest growing marketplace companies globally.

About the Role

The Engineer for Accounting Infrastructure and Systems designs, builds, and maintains the scalable backend services, data pipelines, and integrations that power DoorDash / Deliveroo's accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, and fellow engineers, this role translates complex financial and regulatory requirements into reliable, automated systems that ensure accuracy, auditability, and compliance at scale. The ideal candidate brings strong distributed-systems and data engineering expertise along with a solid understanding of financial processes, and takes technical ownership of critical projects while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape the team's architecture and best practices.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Take technical ownership of critical accounting infrastructure projects — designing and building the backend services, data pipelines, and integrations that power DoorDash's financial reporting, reconciliation, and close workflows at scale.

  • Partner directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into reliable, auditable, and automated systems.

  • Shape the team's architecture and engineering best practices, mentoring junior engineers and raising the technical bar across the organization.

  • Drive measurable improvements in data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system performance in a high-impact, compliance-critical environment.

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 3 - 4+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with a strong track record of owning and delivering complex backend or data infrastructure projects.

  • You have deep expertise in distributed systems and data engineering, with hands-on experience in tools like Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, or similar modern data stack technologies.

  • You can navigate the intersection of engineering and finance — understanding concepts like revenue recognition, reconciliation, and auditability well enough to build systems that meet those requirements.

  • You have a collaborative, low-ego approach and can effectively partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Engineering.

  • Familiarity with SOX controls, data quality frameworks, or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a strong plus.

Why Join Us?

At DoorDash, you'll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a massive marketplace that's constantly evolving. By joining our London-based team on a Deliveroo contract, you get the unique advantage of working within a vibrant local business environment while directly blueprinting global-scale processes for the broader DoorDash Inc. group.

We're problem solvers, community builders, and innovators, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:

  • 🔧 Make a visible impact every day: Your work directly improves experiences for merchants, consumers, partners, and dashers/riders worldwide by building clean, frictionless operational workflows.

  • 🌱 Learn fast in an entrepreneurial environment: Work close to the market with autonomy, pace, and real responsibility.

  • 🧠 Build a career, not just a role: Stretch yourself, develop new skills, and grow as the global business evolves.

  • 🌎 Deliver together in an inclusive culture: Collaborative, values-driven teams that support how you work best.

We aim to create a fair process that lets your skills shine—our interview typically includes 3-4 stages. Find more about how we hire here.

Analytics Engineer – BI Platform
Deliveroo – London, England, United Kingdom

Our Global Structure

Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we're unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Engineering teams tackle complex technical challenges across a global, three-sided marketplace, building and scaling systems that serve millions of customers, riders and partners every day.

From real-time logistics to resilient infrastructure and marketplace optimisation, we design, build and operate technology that powers Deliveroo's growth at scale.

We're looking for a BI Engineer to join our London team. This role is based in our London office with a hybrid setup, typically 3 days in the office.

Get to know our Engineering team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

About the Team

The Core BI team builds and operates the services, integrations and automation that power business intelligence across DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt. Our platforms help analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers and business teams discover trusted data and make informed decisions at scale.

We combine software engineering, platform ownership, and a strong user focus to make BI tooling reliable, secure, scalable and self-service. The team supports the current BI ecosystem while helping shape a more integrated experience across the DoorDash group.

About the Role

As a BI Engineer on the Core BI team, you will build and operate the models, systems and automation behind our BI platforms. This will include supporting our extensive user base on our current BI stack (primarily Looker and Sigma) while helping shape a single, more integrated BI platform across DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt.

You will own problems from discovery through design, implementation, deployment, and operational support. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Managers and business teams to turn recurring user needs into durable, self-service capabilities. If you're energized by solving technical problems with data and comfortable being deeply embedded across several domains, this role is for you!

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own and evolve the semantic layer behind our BI platforms: LookML and Canvas BI models, metric and dimension definitions, and the governance that keeps them trusted

  • Build and operate the Looker and Sigma platforms themselves: instance and workspace configuration, permissions and user attributes, content lifecycle, and API-driven automation

  • Lead the development of self-serve tooling that removes manual BI administration, using usage analytics to decide what to automate, build or retire next

  • Support BI platform migrations and deprecations across DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt while protecting access, governance, data integrity and business continuity

  • Take part in operational support, production debugging and incident response for the BI stack, and fix the root causes you find

  • Champion engineering standards in BI, including version control, code review, CI and testing for models and platform code, so changes ship safely and repeatably

We're excited about you because…

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence engineering, analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar code-first data role

  • Strong Python and SQL skills, and hands-on experience using AI tools (LLMs, agentic workflows, AI-assisted development) to accelerate your own engineering work

  • Hands-on experience building in a BI platform such as Looker (LookML) or Sigma, modelling and configuring it, not only building dashboards in it

  • Experience with semantic or metrics layers (LookML, dbt or similar): defining metrics and dimensions, and keeping those definitions consistent as they are reused

  • Experience running what you build in production: version control, code review, CI, debugging live issues and taking part in operational support

  • Excellent communication skills, and comfortable self-organising in a fast-paced, distributed environment with both technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift) and ability to optimize performance

  • Experience automating BI administration through platform APIs, or identity and access through Okta, SCIM or role-based access controls

  • Experience supporting a BI stack across multiple brands, tenants or regions, or leading a BI platform migration

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you'll do work that matters—solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that's constantly evolving. We're food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:

Engineering Manager – Server-Driven UI (Codeless)
Deliveroo – London, England, United Kingdom

Our Global Structure

Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we're unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Codeless, our internal Server-Driven UI (SDUI) platform team. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team bridging mobile/web frontend engineering and core platform backend systems.

While this role is deeply rooted in modern UI architecture, its mission goes beyond standard UI development: Codeless empowers product teams across the organization to ship dynamic, native UI experiences dynamically from the backend—eliminating app store release bottlenecks, dramatically accelerating feature iteration, and establishing a unified UI schema across iOS, Android, and Web.

What you'll be doing

This is a role with broad impact, from hands-on technical guidance to championing web and mobile accessibility across the company. We're looking for a leader who excels at fostering collaboration and can confidently guide a concept from initial idea to robust implementation.

Day-to-day in this role you'll:

  • Team Leadership & Strategy: Build, mentor, and scale an engineering team responsible for our core Server-Driven UI platform ("Codeless"). Foster an inclusive, high-ownership engineering culture.
  • Platform Architecture & Evolution: Oversee the design and evolution of dynamic layout engines, declarative UI schemas, and client rendering frameworks across iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Developer Velocity & Platform Adoption: Partner with product feature teams to drive internal adoption of Codeless. Ensure the platform provides exceptional Developer Experience, clear tooling, robust design system integration, and seamless debugging workflows.
  • Technical Execution & Quality: Set high technical standards for platform performance, payload optimization, caching strategies, backward compatibility, and graceful offline/fallback behavior across client devices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Design System leaders, and Core Infrastructure engineers to align the Codeless roadmap with broader company initiatives and global design paradigms.

What you'll need to thrive

Engineering Management: 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, with a track record of coaching engineers, delivering complex platform initiatives, and driving technical strategy.

UI & Platform Domain Expertise: Strong foundational background in mobile (iOS/Android) or modern web architecture (React, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or declarative UI paradigms).

Product & Platform Mindset: Ability to treat internal product engineering teams as customers, evaluating platform success through developer velocity, adoption metrics, and rendering performance.

Why join us

At Deliveroo, you'll do work that matters—solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that's constantly evolving. We're food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:
